Smoken Up became the fastest pacer in Australasia with his 1min 51.9sec win in the Len Smith Mile, smashing the previous record set by Pay Me Christian in the 2006 Newcastle Mile of 1min 52.8sec.

Two more records also tumbled, with Good Lookin Girl claiming one in the Ladyship Mile and Earl Of Mot the other in the Trotters Mile.
