"Veterinary advice has been to consistently ultrasound her, but there'sonly a slim chance of getting ‘Goldie' on track for the Ladyship Mile," he said.
"It's unfortunate, because being a big (Perfect Art) mare, it was taking her a while toget fit with age, but the best we can hope for is to start."
The Club, with due respect to the connections of Good Lookin Girl, willbe delaying until Saturday evening the confirmation of the field, in orderto give connections of each and every horse a fair chance of contestingthe race.
"As is always the case, we will maximise the potential of the LadyshipMile and thus, must delay the final invitations until Saturday and thebarrier draw on Sunday morning," NSWHRC Chief Executive John Dumesny said.
"We want to give Good Lookin Girl every chance to compete in the eventand if she can't, we will naturally give another mare the opportunity."
