Entrants must wager on a minimum of 10 races, but may bet up to 12 races. The total cost is $350, of which $150 is the entry fee that goes toward prize money and the remaining $200 will be used as a betting stake. Contestants who sign up by November 21 pay only $ 300 ($ 100. entry fee, $ 200 betting stake).

The contestants keep all parimutuel winnings and prize money will be paid out to the five handicappers with the highest bankrolls. The winner shall receive 50% of the prize money, followed by 25% for second, 12% for third, 8% for fourth and 5% for fifth. The contest winner also qualifies for entry into the 2009 Horseplayer World Series in Las Vegas.

The contest will take place in the popular Inside Track room in the Clubhouse. Entrants will receive a program for the contest and a $ 5.00 food voucher.
