Western Ace, a $1.65-million winner owned by Kovach Stables and Teague Inc., has been a key figure for Kovach Stables and Teague Inc. since an outstanding two-year-old season. Corey Callahan has been the Western Ideal gelding's driver in most of his recent outings.

Meanwhile, Thin Blue Line, owned by Paul McDougall and WJ McDougall Racing, has been razor sharp winning his last two starts impressively with Ron Pierce at the controls. Crissman Inc.'s Redford Hall and reinsman Tony Morgan, spent most of last week's feature racing on the outside. Tim Tetrick will pilot Arty Foster's Devil's Ivy. Winbak Speed prompted the pace last time and still was only 1 ½-lengths behind finishing fourth. This time, the Village Jove gelding drew the rail with Brandon Givens in the bike. Erika Paradee's Bullion Bill A, with Eric Goodell in the bike, completes the starting lineup.

In the first of two $22,000 Winners-Over paces, Tim Lancaster's newcomer That's Justice (Mark Lancaster) is new to the nine-horse field. Three Point Acres' Cool Cal (Tetrick), won at this level last week and leaves from pot 9 in the second tier.

Joe Muscara's Classic Cullen N (Pierce) led until the final steps last time. The New Zealand-bred has post 1. Other second-place finishers last week are Arty Foster Jr.'s Village Blitz (Morgan), Fabulous Farms' Dark Sign (Jim Morand) and Larry Baron's Wynnfield Flash (Ross Wolfenden). The other contestants are Patchel Family Stable's Home Run Hudson (Brian Sears), and Buster Mee N (Brandon Givens) racing for Pres Walls and Nanticoke Racing while Prince Of Luck (George Dennis) cannot be overlooked.

Joe Muscara's Radar Installed N (Pierce) is the lone winner last week in the second $23,000 pace. Jeff and Paul Long's Sheer Brilliance (Vic Kirby), an early season standout, has post 1. Three Point Acres' Western Hot Shot (Sean Bier) has been racing well of late. Mattdultery (Morand) is owned by Bill Camp, Double Down Stables and Teague Inc. Tom Kelly's Print It (Goodell) is a strong closer. Eoos (Callahan) is sharpening up for Ken Wood, Bill Dittmar and Steve Iaquinta. The other participants are Art Brewer's Kuai Diam N (Eddie Davis Jr.) and Kal Liebowitz's Truponder (B.Givens), the only three-year-old in the field.

The undercard features an $18.500 and two $15,000 Male paces plus a $40,000, $30,000 and two $25,000 claimers.
