While 4-Y-0 gelding Billy The Brat did similar in the Bush's Produce Stores Trotters Handicap for T0 & T1 class and 5-Y-0 gelding Raise An Eyebrow registered his first success by taking the Tennotrump Back Straight Trotters Handicap for T0 & T1 class, with the three events all over 2150 metres.

Conaroyal (Continentalman/Brandi Royal) bred and raced by long time harness devotees Les and Joan Tilley, trained by Danny and Gill Norris at Little River (Geelong) and driven by Craig Demmler, blitzed his rivals in a mile rate of 2-06.7.

Starting from the 10 metre mark, Conaroyal began safely avoiding some early breakers, but wasn't pushed in the early stages to possie with most of the field ahead of him, with Daryl Douglas sending the well supported Peter Manning trained Carletonhill forward from 10 metres to pilot the field.

Eased three wide in the final circuit, Conaroyal sprinted brilliantly to lead on the home turn, before coasting to the wire in advance of Prince Of All (one/one) and the first starter Kimberley Quest from the Graeme Lang camp.

Billy The Brat a son of Keystone Salute and Maori Joy bred and raced by Bendigonians Ian and Sue White, trained by father Bill and driven by Ian, was again most impressive in his victory.

A winner on debut at Maryborough on November 2 after giving away a tidy start, Billy The Brat was slowly away from 10 metres, before gradulally making ground to be three back in the running line racing for the bell.

When Fleetwood Blue which had raced in the open after an early break went for home approaching the home turn, she looked all over a winner until "Billy" produced a whirlwind finish out wide to nail her right on the wire in a 2-06.1 rate, with Kept At Bey third.

Cleverly named, lightly raced Dream Vacation/Sparkling Eyes gelding Raise An Eyebrow opened his winning account at start number four.

Trained at Bacchus Marsh for long time client Ian Arnold who bred him, Raise An Eyebrow driven by Amy Tubbs stepped safely from outside the front row to settle four back along the markers in a strung out field headed by Roslei Matt.

Moving to face the breeze at the bell, Raise An Eyebrow proved too strong at the finish for Catchya Muscle along the sprint lane off the back of the leader, with Roslei Matt close up in third place - the mile rate 2-07.

COLD ON RIVALS

Quality 6-Y-0 Totally Ruthless/Karamea Sunshade gelding Baltic Ice chalked up his 17th victory in taking out the Morey & Hurford Pace for C6 & C7 class over 2150 metres.

Taking a concession for Chris Lang (Jnr), Baltic Ice from outside the front row was driven forward to obtain to lead after a short tussle from Man On A Rock, before coasting to the wire in a 1-58.4 rate to score from Win To Live and Connetic Score.

CARDS ON THE TABLE

Popular Seymour trainer Michael Hayes combined with Shepparton's Daniel Jack to capture the Alabar Bloodstock Pace for C0 class over 1650 metres with the Armbro Operative/Card Club Lucy 4-Y-0 gelding Operative Card who registered his 2nd success in seven outings.

Leading out from gate two, Operative Card was never in any serious danger and kicked away on the home turn to win in a breeze over Illawong Katrina and Thewingman in 1-58.4.
