Steve Mahar, who has been making the trek to Maine now for several years, along with veteran trainer Bernard Charlton are both back on Saturday. Mike Downey, who calls Fredericton home, is also back to the province and will finish out the 2008 campaign travelling between Saint John & Fredericton.

Bo Sowers, a Woodstock based horsemen, brings home a number of horses to help bolster the horse population for the last two-months of the year. After Boxing Day, Exhibition Park will cease it's racing operations and hand over the reins to the new group under the working name Harness Racing New Brunswick.
