Doc's All Class and Bruce Ranger were quickest off the gate to command the trotters through fractions of .29.2, 1:00 and 1:29.3.
Santeramo and EW Royal Pain were sitting fourth parked two wide at the three quarters. As the field made its final turn down the stretch Doc's All Class made a costly break. EW Royal Pain fanned four wide to win by ahalf of length.
