Owned by Ask W Stables and George & Tina Dennis, the SJ's Caviar gelding takes on Carol and Jim Atkinson's DI Blast and Mike Cole and Arty Foster's Spunky Vic, with Tim Tetrick in the bike, and Mike and Ann Tait's homebred Tug River Man with Ross Wolfenden, who should enjoy an inside starting post.
Rusty's Biggie, with Tony Morgan in the bike, is rounding into form for Horsemans Financial Agency and Premier Racing Stable. Myrhythmofthemight, handled by Vick Kirby, spent most of last week's race on the outside and still finished fourth. Breeze Hill Will, with Justin Hite driving for Ricky Pryor and Wendy Crissman, drew post 1. Ross Wolfenden will drive Astro Hall, owned by Glenn Wilson and Nanticoke Racing.
Craig Prettyman's Maheer Lord N (Wolfenden) is the lone starter in the $20,000 Delaware Male Claiming pace to win last time out. The inside starters, Robin and Jay Breasure's Mr. Socks (Dennis) and Chris White's Foolish Pleasure (Tetrick) both drop down in claiming price. Beaver Creek Farm's Josh's Z Tam (Roger Plante) was out of the money last time but won his previous start. Lauren Allen's Vivere (Jim Morand) has won 11 races and $102,774 already this season.
The other starters are Jeff Franklin's Pure Class (Morgan), Jim Banks' Intimidator Three (Corey Callahan) and Now That's Art (Cole), claimed last time out by Paul McDougall Racing, complete the lineup.
