Artic Warrior (Tim Tetrick), Clear Vision (David Miller), and Get Jazzed (Jeff Fout) complete the seven-colt field.In the other $35,000 section, locally owned Zee Barber (Brian Sears) may be the one to catch while Rusty's All In (Daniel Dube) drew the rail. Go Go Solano (George Brennan) won the New York Sire Stakes championship, Tidewater Tomahawk (Dave Palone), Mysterious Moment (Jim Morrill Jr.), Ideal Danny (David Miller) are the other starters.
There are two very competitive $43,257 Matron Three-Year-Old Colt Trot elims. Four of the nine starters of the starters in one of the elims are fresh from the recent Breeders Crown; Triumphant Caviar (Luc Ouellette), a second-place finisher and Neighsay Hanover (Brian Sears), Hot Shot Blue Chip (David Miller) and Howthehaloareyou (George Brennan). Other contenders are Monsieur DeVie (Mike Lachance), Garcon (Dave Palone), NF Quotable (Tim Tetrick). Tagyoureit Hanover (Andy Miller) and Uwantapieceofme (George Dennis).
In the other $43,257 colt trot, PJ Clark (Andy Miller) and Swan For All (David Miller) last raced in the Breeders Crown and take on Photoforwin (Rick Beinhauer), Calchips Brute (Trond Smedshammer), Russell Hill (John Campbell), Winning Mister (Dave Palone), Vesuvio AS (Tim Tetrick), And Heez Perfect (Brian Sears), Howd That Feel (Jim Morrill Jr.) and Jaavos Boy (George Brennan) in a 10-colt field.
A pair of highly touted filly pacers head a $55,750 Matron Preview. Showherthemoney (Morrill) and Ginger And Fred (Palone) lead seven to post with all making the lucrative final new week. Major contenders are Special Sweetheart (Jodi Jamieson) and Indulge Me (Campbell) with West Of LA (Ron Pierce) and the entry of Riley Character (David Miller) and Melissa's Fancy (Andy Miller).
The $35,694 Matron Three-Year-Old Matron Filly Trot elim boasts 10-starters, including five Breeders Crown starters. Five-time winner Seaside (D.Miller) was the third-place Breeders Crown finisher, starts from post 10. Margarita Momma (Ron Pierce), Rapsong (Brian Sears), Yursa Hanover (Tim Tetrick) and Sirenuse (Mike Lachance) along with last year's two-year-old Matron world champion winner Honorable Daughter (John Campbell). The other contenders are Buckette winner Caviar For the Lady (Charlie Norris), One Touch Girl (Cat Manzi), La Marchesa (George Brennan) from the rail and Princess Lindsay (Andy Miller) from post 9 in the second tier.
A second $35,694 Matron Filly Trot is led by Windsong Soprano (Mike Lachance), a nine-time winner this season. The other starters also boasting six figures winnings this year are Michelle's Way (Eric Goodell), Sea Raven (Andy Miller), Whispering Wind (Brian Sears), Broadway Paige (Corey Callahan) and Gift Card (Tim Tetrick). Completing the 10 starters are Jersey AS (George Brennan), On Broadway DeVie (John Campbell) and Musical Mystery (Ron Pierce)
The first four finishers in each of the Progress Pace and Matron elims and all seven Matron Preview contenders return next Sunday for rich finals.
