The first two finishers last Monday, KSJ Stable's Perfect M Forever, driven by Eric Goodell, has won five of her previous six starts while last season' Horse of the Meet, Apache Dame, with Ross Wolfenden in the bike for owners Paul McDougall and WJ McDougall Racing, lead a nine-field strong filly and mare feature.
All Or None, the only three-year-old in the lineup has won her last four starts including a 1:52 victory in last week's Jr. Open for North State Street Stable's All Or None and is piloted by Corey Callahan, outstepping second-place finisher Grace and M&W stables and Bib Roberts' Kellytuck Sophie, teamed with Jonathan Roberts and Richard Lester and trainer Tony Domino's Alice's Restaurant reined by Vince Copeland.
The other starters are Teenage Paige, with Ron Pierce driving for Ken Wood, Bill Dittmar and Steve Iaquita, Montrell Teague drives Mozzi Hanover for Jim Bernstein, Clyde Francis Teague Inc. and Teague Racing Partnership from the rail, El Lobo's Ready To Rumba makes her first local start with Jim Morand while Lloyd Arnold's Delightful Diva and Tony Morgan return after a one-week absence.
In the $22,000 Filly and Mare Jr. Open pace. Joe Muscara's Itz Cherry Ripe N (George Dennis), Russell and Elaine MacKinnon's Keystone Rhythm (Ross Wolfenden), Demorrio Williams and Teague Inc.'s Firiel Hanover (Montrell Teague), and Niel Gargiulo, Bruce Baker and trainer Wayne Givens' VC Atom N (Vince Copeland), all raced in last week's Jr. Open.
A hard-hitting field of nine females tangle in the $18,500 Fillies and Mares pace. Donttellmewhattodo (Ross Wolfenden) has won her last two and steps up. Hopefull N (Jim Morand) won her last start for Pres Walls, Chad Tate and Steve Daugherty, and newcomer Gabrielles Girl (Eric Goodell) for owners Tom Kelly and Margaret Mancini. Not to be overlooked are Lofty Widget (Ron Pierce) owned by F.W. Sporrer, Greg Trotto and VIP Internet Stable and Mike, Jordan and Adam Knicley's Dynamic Dream (Brad Hanners).
