In the feature, Corey Callahan pulled Joey The Jet JT to the outside to follow Man About Town and Tony Morgan challenging leader Daryl Bier-driven Starsel at the three quarters then moved three wide on the final turn to accelerate in the stretch for a 1:55 triumph. Ken Wood and Bill Dittmar owned the Westgate Crown-NV Becky gelding, now a winner of $135,970 this year. Starsel held on for second with Man About Town collecting show money. Lolique's five-race win streak came to an end finishing fourth.
Ron Pierce ushered JM Vangogh into the lead on the backstretch and then pulled off to a 1:56.1 victory in the $22,000 sub feature. The victory was the eights of the year for the $1.8-million winning nine-year-old, a son of Earl from Queen Tut. He is owned by trainer Paul Chambers and Laureta Mello/ Impel Hanover closed with conviction for Jim King to finish second beaten by a half-length. Fivedollarsfor sox came on for third with George Dennis in the bike.
Lauren Allen's Rose Run Flash with Mike Cole driving won the $15,500 trot for the second straight week in 1:57. Copper Harbor (Carlo Poliseno), the only three-year-old in the nine-horse field finished second. Tug River Man (Ross Wolfenden) was third.
Jason Lynch and Toby Lynch's Who's Next were all alone at the wire in 1:54.3 to win the $20,000 Male Claiming Allowance. Tongue Twister (George Dennis) was second with Real Art (Ridge Warren) third..Ron Pierce, Corey Callahan and Ross Wolfenden, 1-2-3 in the track's driver standings had two wins each.
There is no live racing at Dover Downs on Thanksgiving and Friday, this week only. Saturday and Sunday racing starts at 5:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday racing begins at 4:30 p.m.
On Thanksgiving day, the Dover Downs Race and Sports Book features simulcasting of major harness and thoroughbred racing starting at 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. On the third floor, simulcasting of major racing also is available one hour before live racing until after the Dover Downs races on racing days only. There is no charge for admission or parking at Dover Downs.

On Saturday, the 2nd and final leg of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) Two-Year-Old $20,000 prelims for filly pacers. Sunday, the DSBF trotting colts race. The top eight point getters in each of the division return next weekend for $100,000 finals.

Though a division winner in last weeks Matron eliminations, Vintage Master was not dropped in for this week's $259,486 final. Last Sunday, Vintage Master and 39-1 shot Nob Hill High won $39,082 elims. The top four finishers in each event: Nob Hill High, Clear Vision, Schoolkids and Mr. Wiggles from the first elim and Vintage Master, Straight Shooting, Ideal Race, Hypnotic Blue Chip and Arctic Warrior are the eight-colts in the final.

Both Ron Pierce and Ross Wolfenden had hot hands early in the week. On Monday, Pierce drove six winners while Corey Callahan had a four bagger. On Tuesday, Wolfenden also made the winner's circle six times.
