Charlino continues winning ways with Tarver Hanover

With the Summit County Fair taking over harness racing at Northfield Park Saturday night, the $6,000 Open Pace was moved to Monday and Tarver Hanover ($3.40) posted his second straight local win, despite being assigned the outside post eight.

Dan Charlino put the winner forward early, but he was parked three-wide at the 27.4 quarter.

The Sam Schilacci-never saw the pylons, but turned back numerous challenges during the 1:54 mile, eventually emerging with a 2 1/4 length win over Camcoder, with Wow Power finishing third.

The Wiz Kids Stables of Dover Delaware owns Tarver Hanover, a nine-year-old Ball And Chain stallion who has earned $706,994 in his career.
