Summerside Raceway will be the scene of three-year-old harness racing stakes action this Friday night with N.B owned and stabled Ultimate Success drawing in. With the ink still drying on his new record of 1:55.1 last week, he will see action in race seven. »»»

Big thanks to Pat Eastwood for passing this along yesterday. Earl Smith, who has enjoyed a superb career in the Maritimes, reached the 2500-win plateau on Monday at his home track in P.E.I. Smith, who has been a fixture in P.E.I racing, notched his 2500th win with Kingofthecastle in three-year-old Atlantic Sires Stakes action. Earl had another shining moment in 2008 when he captured his very first Gold Cup & Saucer victory.»»»
