The Gr. II Prix Albert Demarcq (purse 100,000€, 2850 meters distance handicap, five year olds) saw the 3.2/1 Eugenito du Noyer (5m Saxo de Vandel-Pakarina) score timed in 1.12.5kr off even fraction with Eric Raffin at the lines for trainer J.M. Baudouin and owner Ecurie Ostheimer.
This victory increased the winner’s life earnings to 188,620€ with this his sixth career victory in 27 starts.
The 25 meter handicapped and 1.2/1 favorite Enino du Pommereux (5m Coktail Jet-Noune du Pommereux) was second for driver Matthieu Abrivard, trainer Sylvain Roger and breeder/owner Noel Lolic.
3/2 second favorite Excellent (5m Real de Lou) was third with Alexandre Abrivard teaming, as they relegated 12/1 Elite du Ruel and 34/1 El Villagio to the fourth and fifth positions.
Eugenito du Noyer
The Gr. II Prix Kerjacques (purse 100,000€, 200 meters, International starters) brought a fine field of veteran campaigners, that were no match for the Jean-Michel Bazire trained and reined Cleangame (7g Ouragon-Red Bell), that scored timed in 1.12.6kr for his 24th victory in 39 starts, now for 825,470€ earned.
Jean-Michele Rancoule is the owner. Cleangame closed out the victory swiftly after the clocking with 500 meters remaining was 1.14.4kr.
He was off at 1.8/1 odds.
Second was 9/1 Carat Williams (m Prodigious-Miss Williams) for driver David Thomain and trainer Sebastien Guarato.
5.9/1 Ble du Gers (8g Quinoa du Gers-Moorea) gamely held third with Alexandre Abrivard teaming for trainer Bazire and owner Rancoule.
60/1 Cash Gamble and 6.3/1 Anzi des Liards took the fourth and fifth checks.
The Elitloppet invitee Uza Josselyn finished eighth.
Cleangame
The Prix du Rouergue (purse 64,000€, 2100 meters autostart, European starters) saw Jean Michel Bazire win again with his trainee Super Fez (8m Love You-Lucia FI).
Off at 1.7/1 Super Fez was super sharp and an easy winner, timed in 1.10.7kr with a quick final brush after being at 1.11.1kr with 500 meters remaining.
The Scuderia Cumana Group owned stallion scored his seventh win in 35 starts and raised his life earnings to 382,644€.
The 4.6/1 second finisher was also a Bazire trainee, Valokaja Hindo (8m Great Challenger-Hindo Enghave) was his name.
Alexandre Abrivard teamed this fine trotteur that has eight wins in 14 outings since moving in from Norway.
Third home was 20/1 Ardente du Clos (9f Reve des Vallees) with Matthieu Abrivard the pilot.
Ce Bello Romain at 4/1 and 8/1 Cicero Noa completed the top five finishers.
