He raced in the pocket until the final turn after being denied the front, and he held off 10/1 Tsunami Diamant (5m Gustav Diamant-Golde Chip) reined by Jorgen Sjunnesson in the final strides. Orlando Jet raised his career earnings to 370,751€. Third was pacesetter 9/1 Halva Von Haithabu (7m Here Comes Joey) and teamster Thorsten Tietz.
The undercard included the Breeders Crown Mares (purse 57,215€, 1900 meters autostart, 11 starters) and it saw 1.13.1kr timed and 5.9/1 odds Alegra B (5f Andover Hall-Galea) score for Conrad Lugauer.
The 1.9/1 Goldy Stardust (6f Quick Crown-Timely Stardust) was second for Michael Nimczyk. Third was 21.9/1 Super Queen C (6f Offshore Dream-Freiha Haikant) teamed with Jaap Van Rijn.
Aged performers also were on stage for the Thomas Philipps (purse 10,728€, 1900 meters autostart) and the 1.13.3kr timed victory went to Muscle Boy As (6m Muscle Hill-Zelda Perj) with trainer Gerhard Mayr at the lines. Khalid (6f Lets Go-Lisboa) took second for Roland Hulskath and Gustavson Be (6g Juliano Star-Gioioca Caf) was third for Victor Gentz.
