The 3.9/1 Aronville (3g Calypso Capar-Sereville-What A Man) was second after being the pacesetter for trainer/driver Imre Fazekas. His stablemate and 3.4/1 odds Aurom Ville (3g Calypso Capar-Izaville-Endless Sands) was third for Gyorgy Horvath, and trainer Fazekas.
This race has been won since 2009 by some solid performers.
Horvath won earlier in the program with 3.8/1 Aurora (3f Frullino Jet-Lezer-Baltic Bet) in the Eros DIJ (purse 400,000Huf, 1800 meters autostart) timed in 1.21.6kr, her maiden win in four starts. Second was 11.5/1 Amaru Shakur (3m Vioxx SR-Bel Dillio-Wired Pine) with Lazslo Kolozsi up and third went to 20.2/1 Angello with Emese Veser up. Aurora set the tempo and held on for the victory.
The undercard was led by the Dr. Tibor Papp Memorial (purse 600,000Huf, 2500 meters autostart) and the 1.19.5kr winner was 3.1/1 Zanebono (4m Frullino Jet-Carolla Jet-Park Avenue Joe) with trainer Branislav Mukity the pilot.
This was his fifth 2019 victory in 10 starts that held gamely after a front end journey. 4.8/1 Up All Night (6f America’s Dust-Cicciolina Fling-Supergill) was second for Sandor Varga and 12.6/1 Very Nice Pholo (5f SJs Photo-Jasmin Diamant-Sugarcane Hanover) was third for Emese Vezer.
