The public is still not buying Charles O'Neal's Delivered Rules as a top Open pacer at Northfield, but with Dan Charlino sending the six-year-old Signed And Sealed stallion to his third open win in four starts, that may change soon.

Delivered Rules, who moved at the quarter and ground out a first-over effort to defeat 1-2 favorite Windsong Fortune, yielded $8.40 with his 1:54 win. The favorite had taken the field past fractions of 27.3, 57 and 1:25.2 while under siege from the winner. Lite Me Up got show money.

Delivered Rules has won 28 of 158 lifetime starts and has banked $23,436 this year and $83,999 lifetime.

Charlino closed within 30 wins of the injured Aaron Merriman for the local lead among drivers with a four-bagger, including races two-three and four.

Three-time Northfield driving champ Greg Grismore picked up three wins in a rare local appearance, and Ryan Stahl, currently third in the local standings, also tripled.
