The Vincennes groupe action started early with the Gr. III Prix de Gien (purse €68,000, 2700 meters, eight starters) and 2.2/1 Dragon des Racques (3m Love You-Quinte des Racques) scored timed in 1.15.8kr for harness racing trainer/driver L.Cl. Abrivard. 4.8/1 Diablo du Noyer (3m Jasmin de Flore-Une et Indivisible) took second for trainer/driver William Bigeon, ahead of 18.4/1 Dream Darling (3m Sam Bourbon-Lets Go Darling) along the pegs for owner/driver Jean-Pierre Dubois and trainer Yves Boireau.

The Prix d’Istres (Gr. III, purse €68,000, 2700 meters, 11 starters) for three year-old fillies went to 12.4/1 Difa Girl (3f Love You-Rita Rainbow) for driver J-Ph Monclin and trainer Philippe Allaire. This 1.15.9okr timed winner bested Italy’s 52.6/1 outsider Uriel (3f Zinzan Brooke Tur-Make Up Grif) handled by Edoardo Loccisano for trainer Marco Smorgon. Third was 7.7/1 well-bred Unison Kronos (3f Donato Hanover-Zagabria Dei-Victory Dream) with Roberto Andreghetti up. Stephanie-Catherine Lepetit trains this half-sister to Lisa America (she by Varenne) for owner J-M Saguin. The breeder was Allevemento Kronos SRL. The full-sister Radysin America races tomorrow in a fast-class mares event at Bjerke.

The monte Prix de Ploermel (purse €70,000, 2700 meters, 12 European starters) went to 6.2/1 Chiricahua (4f Pomerol de Laumac-Phoenix Arizona) timed in 1.14.5kr for A. Kloess, trainer Chj. Hamal and Ecurie Marechal. 2.2/1 Cigale Castelets (4f Rombaldi-Kandie du Rib) was next for Eric Raffin, trainer Sebastien Guarato and Ecurie de Haras de l’Epinay. 3.9/1 Caid de Bengale (4g LouLou Jet-Tierce de Bengala) landed third for Matthieu Abrivard.

Today’s Quinte+ was the Prix du Quercy (purse €80,000, 2850 meters, 18 European starters) and the 1.6/1 favorite Aubrion du Gers (6g Memphis du Rib-J’Arrive du Gers) scored victory for owner/trainer/driver J-M Bazire over 2.6/1 Anzi des Liards (6g Look de Star-Nausicaa de Sud) with Romain Derieux driving for David Bekaert, trainer for Ecurie BKR. Third went to 30.5/1 Univers de Daidou (8g Jag de Bellouet-l’Absinthe) with Thierry Duvaldestin trainer/driver for Ecurie Daidou, also the breeder. The winner was timed in a good 1.12.4kr over the extended distance.

Italy’s 3.2/1 odds Only One Glory (8m Ganymede-Eva Kant Gar) landed fifth for Franck Nivard, trainer Souloy andf Scuderia RPR (Italy). Another non-FR invaded was next, namely 13.8/1 King Of The World with Michael Nimczyk aboard.
