Fidelity (5f Prodigious-Rapide Aventure-Love You-Bahama) took today’s Prix Paul Viel at Cabourg (purse 22,000€, 2750 meters distance handicap, five to eight year olds) clocked in 1.13.7kr as she stormed from last to first in the last 600 meters to win easily.

Breeder Jean Philippe Dubois teamed the 4.4/1 odds mare for his Ecurie Victoria Dreams and trainer Philippe Moulin. She recorded her 10th career victory now for 155,490 earned. She overcame a 25-meter penalty.


What a pedigree this is. Rapide Aventure won four times for 217,250€ and second dam Bahama won 25 times in 68 starts for 1,663,108€. Bahama won many top-level races as shown below and her maternal family has been productive:

Finishing second was 25-meter handicapped Feerie Wood (5f Rockfeller Center-Vive Fee) with owner Alexandre Abrivard aboard. Fabella Galaa (5f Coktail Jet) was third for Theo Duvaldestin.
