The latest harness racing fixed odds racing report from the TAB

Thursday – Forbury Park
A good start to the Harness week for punters at Forbury Park with 7 favourites getting home including the first three races.  The best bet was $1,200 Pres The Belle @ $3.80 closely followed by $1,140 Its Elvis also @ $3.80.  Some reprieve for us came with $3,800 on Pembrook Legacy @ $3.20 & $2,000 Coolhand Easton @ $2.60.

Friday – Auckland
Punters hit the ground running with Our Petite Lady well found in the first race including $250 @ $14, and cashed in on the last race winner Fantasize including $900 @ $3.28 (40% deductions due to Garta & Arma Indie Late Scratching).  In between was a mixed bag though.  Revolver was heavily backed in R4, as was On The Cards in R7, & both got home.  The big miss of the night was $7,000 @ $3.20 on the big mover Raptors Flight in R9.  Opened $7.50 @ closed $2.80 he would have been a terrible result for us.  $3,000 on Lincoln Road @ $1.75 also went our way.

Friday – Addington
Favourites on a roll at Addington winning the first 5 races then the best bet of $2,500 on Bonnie Highlander @ $3.20 in R6 had us reeling.  A couple of $10,000 bets on Jesse Duke @ $1.14 & $1.12 set the scene.  Luby Lou attracted bets of $2,800 @ $2,000 @ $1.70 & gave punters no concerns.  A couple of misses late in the programme saved our bacon.  $3,000 More The Better @ $1.65 & $2,000 Denstown @ $2.  Also letting us off the hook was the gallop of Enghien.  There were a heap of $100 to $500 bets on him @ $6.50 into $4.60.

Saturday – Winton
Mile day at Winton & some very fast times recorded.  Mach's Back was $39 into $16 when winning @ Wyndham the week before & was well backed again on Saturday $5.80 into $4.20.  Franco Santino nabbing him late in 1:52 swung the day our way.  Earlier $3,000 Thatswhatisaid @ $2.30 provided a good return in R2 & Come Dance With Me redeemed herself winning @ $1.60 & Somejoy was way too good @ $1.30.  A couple of big misses ere $5,000 My Georgie Boy @ $2.70 & $3,000 Hail Christian @ $1.60.

Sunday – Waimate
A tricky day at Waimate where we hadn’t raced for about 5 years.  The best bet came in the feature with an early $300 bet on Acolyte @ $30 was very lucrative.  Also pretty good was $1,000 Awaytocollect (Top3) @ $7.  A couple of misses eased our pain with $2,500 EW Agatha Tyron @ $6.50 & $2.10 and $2,500 Diamonds N Cash @ $3.80 both coming unstuck.

Monday – Wingatui
Something for everyone at Wingatui on Monday with dual code action.  Some decent collects were landed though.  $100 Lady’s Lass @ $26 was the best bet on the day with $500 bets on Still Eyre @ $5.20, Overcast @ $5 x2 not far behind.  Very little for us to cheer about with well backed runners getting home until the last race when Archman was very quiet in the market & got home @ $19.

Multi of the Week:
$200 on Saturday
Gorrilla Playboy @ $5 @ Waimate
So It Was @ $5 @ Masterton Gallops
Returned $5,000
