Dover, DE - Ideal Lifestyle A sets a harness racing lifetime mark in the $27,500 Mares Open at Dover Downs on Wednesday night.

Moments of Joy and Valuable Art left alertly, as expected and raced to the quarter in 27 flat. Tim Tetrick and Ideal Lifestyle A decided to up the ante and confidently pulled from third.  They seized control of the race past the quarter pole.

The half was reached in 55.3, a 28.3 quarter.

Dibaba N and Corey rushed up past the half and pressured Ideal Lifestyle A. They reached the three quarters in 1:23.1 and  paced the 3rd quarter in 27.3. Moments of Joy sat in the pocket and Valuable Art remained 3rd on the rail.

Shezallapples A was gapping cover nearing the three quarter pole. This allowed Moments Of Joy to ease of the rail and shadow Dibaba N. for the stretch drive.

Ideal Lifestyle A  accelerated in the deep stretch and won by a convincing 1 ½ lengths in 1:50.3.  She was sent off at odds of 5-1.
