Pompano Beach, FL...January 30, 2017...My Revenuer, again superbly handled by harness racing driver Brad Kramer, got back on track to his winning ways at Pompano Park on Monday night, scoring a handy win in the popular "Over-The-Hill Gang" Trot.

The ultra-game nine year-old gelded son of Revenue S, used a backstretch blitz from fourth and swept into the lead a eight-of-a-mile later and then went on to score a 3¼ length decision over the late charging Ramzan (Mike Simons), who was eventually placed back to fifth, the result of a long miscue in the final stages.

Bad Angel (Tom Jackson), third under the line, was moved up a notch to the place spot, while She's All In (Rick Plano) also gained a spot to officially wind up third. Adenium also was place up a spot to fourth while Ramzan had to settle for fifth money in the field of six.

At the outset, Bad Angel was on the engine from her outside six post to take command early and stop the timer at the quarter in :28.

That mare continued to lead last a rated half in :57.2 as My Revenuer tilted out from fourth and blitzed forward, taking command with authority and taking the field by the third station in 1:25.3--his third quarter clocked in :27.3.

In the lane, Kramer was just a passenger as My Revenuer cruised home an ever-so-easy winner, stopping the clock in 1:55.3.

After the event, Kramer related, "ya know, this horse has been on a terror lately, winning four of his last five. And the one he lost, he was out a long way on that very windy night and just did miss.

"Tonight, we got away in good order and, on the backside, I gave him one 'chirp' and off he went.

"This Over-The-Hill Gang class is a very tough group of trotters. They may be a little past their prime, but they can still put on a show.

"Like I said last week, the only thing I'd like to change on this horse is the ownership because I would really love to own one like this.

"Tom (trainer Petri) has him sharp as a tack and he's stayed that way for a good, long time. I love driving him!"

In winning for the third time in four starts this year, My Revenuer now has $11,375 on his 2017 card and $241,934 lifetime.

As the 3 to 5 tote-board favorite, My Revenuer paid $3.20 to his multitude of backers.

Racing continues at Pompano Park on Tuesday night with Tater Twister looking to score a repeat victory in the $12,000 Open Handicap Trot. Mike Simons is expected back in the bike behind the 9 to 5 morning line favorite.

Ruddy Rusty, Gold Savage, Massive Lightning and Diamond Dagger complete the talented trotting field.

Post time is set for 7:20 p.m.
