Trois-Rivieres, QC - The trotters own the spotlight at the Hippodrome 3R Tuesday evening with five divisions of the Quebec Series for harness racing two and three-year-old trotters.

The action begins right in the third race with the Breeders Cup for three-year-old trotting fillies.

Montanaalaska seeks her third straight win and starts from post two for driver Guy Gagnon. This daughter of Angus Hall wired the field in 2:00.2 last week at Rideau Carleton and in the second rounds of the Breeders Cup Series, won at H3R in 2:02.4.

She is trained by Alain Martin and owned by Michel Grenier of Gatineau.

The colts in the second round of the Breeders Cup Series get underway in the sixth race where Johnnys Revenge (post three) takes on Sir Chopin (post one) and Sombre (post five).

The second division for colts is in the eighth race where SG Goliath King looks to extend his two-race winning streak for Sylvain Grenier of Saint-Rene. Grenier not only bred and owns the gelded son of Lucky Fool, but is also the trainer and driver.

SG Goliath King has now won three of his last four starts and has finished first or second in his last six starts, the fastest a 2:01.2 record at H3R. They will start from post six and go against return winner Yankee Photo (post five) and Nobodynojustice (post three), all of whom have won prior legs of the series.

The two-year-old trotters are featured first in the Future Stars Series in race four for the fillies.

Newcomer to H3R is Kenogami Darling, who ships in from Toronto off a very impressive victory at Woodbine Mohawk Park. The daughter of Justice Hall came from off the trot in a $19,500 Ontario Sire Stakes Grassroot Stake and won going away by six lengths in 1:59.2.

She is trained by Dany Fontaine for breeder Jean Francois of Anjou, who co-owns the filly with Claude Reid of Jonquiere and starts from post six.

Kenogami Darling will be taking on return Series winners The Only is Somolie (post seven) and My Lady Hall (post five), who is part of an entry with Claudi P V (post 2).

The colts for the Future Stars have nine starters in the ninth race and the early favorite is trainer/driver and Hall of Famer Yves Filion's Money Hill from post seven.

This colt by Muscle Hill won his qualifying event at Mohawk in 2:00.3 and in his first start in the Define World Series, was fourth, race timed in 1:58.4. He was bred and is owned by R L Belanger of Laval.

Money Hill will go against opening round winner, El Bleu (post nine) and the Dany Fontaine entry of Only For Justice (post one) and Clevisse (post eight). They were both bred and are owned by Gaston Bono, Inc. of Montreal.

First race post time is 12:50 pm Tuesday. Anyone wishing to get a free race program can visit www.quebecjockeyclub.com.
