Perfect M Forever and Eric Goodell - Won in 1:51.3 at Dover

Perfect M Forever stepped up after winning last week's Winners-Over pace to take the $26,000 Mares Open Handicap on Tuesday, Feb.22 at Dover Downs. Harness racing driver Eric Goodell sent Perfect M Forever past Alice's Restaurant heading past the three quarters and then opened up a big lead on the way to a 1:51.3 victory in the female feature of the week.

Trained by meet leader Josh Green for KSJ Stables, the Stand Forever-Perfect Model six-year-old equaled her lifetime best winning for the second time this year. She has banked $13,959 in her career. High Speed Life (Matt Kakaley) closed strongly to finish second in front of Alice’s Restaurant (Corey Callahan).

The $18,000 Mares Winners-Over pace was all Donttellmewhattodo. The daughter of DM Dillinger-Murder Of One led from the start with Allan Davis in the bike scoring a 1:53 triumph, her fourth of the year for owners Darryl Gombert, Jeff Rose and Hankook Stable. Charles Cochran conditions the nine-year-old. Mystra (Ron Pierce) finished second with Riley Character (Tim Tetrick) third.

Lorie Please won for the third consecutive time with Matt Kakaley driving for Bulletproof Enterprises. The Western Ideal-National Gallery four-year-old notched a 1:53 career fastest mile in a $16,500 4&5-Year-Old Mares pace. Mike Hall of the Doug Lewis Stable conditions the winner. Eyeseefame (Ron Pierce) came on fast to finish second. Briteolive (Eddie Dennis) was the show horse.

Ross Wolfenden continued with a hot hand driving three winners.

Monday through Thursday racing begins at 4:30 p.m. There is no live racing on Fridays. Saturday and Sunday post time is 5:30 p.m. There is no charge for parking or admission. Reservations are suggested for the Winner's Circle Restaurant 302-674-4600.
