WASHINGTON, PA, Jan. 22, 2014 -- Run And Tell Pap overcame post 8 with a quick burst to the lead and rolled on to his second straight victory in Wednesday's $24,800 Winners Over $10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows.

Once on the front, Run And Tell Pap withstood the first-over challenge of Trustworthy Kid and scored for Dave Palone in 1:57.3 over a "good" surface. The pocket-sitting TSM Photo Bugger was second, 1-1/2 lengths back, while Austin's Jon Jon rallied for show.

Ron Burke trains Run And Tell Pap, a 7-year-old High Falls-Adele's Jade gelding who extended his career bankroll to $442,921, for Burke Racing Stable, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and M1 Stable.

Palone drove four winners -- three for Burke -- on the 16-race card. With a pair of victories, Brian Zendt vaulted over $20 million in career purses.

Live racing at The Meadows resumes Thursday, with the first of 16 at 12:55 PM.
