Northern Express and Morairtime left alertly at the start of the $14,000 feature trot at Dover Downs Tuesday night. Northern Express and harness racing driver Russell Foster, gladly accepted the pocket trip from Morairtime and Jack Parker Jr.
Morairtime reached the quarter in 28 seconds flat and continued their journey to an identical 28 second quarter. The half was reached in 56 seconds.

Northern Express was able to clear the lead at the top of the stretch.
Majestic Marvel continued in pursuit but was unable to make up any ground on the leader.
Northern Express won by a convincing two and a quarter lengths in 1:54.3 and was the 2-1 race favorite.
