Baileys Magic, a six-year-old Kadabra gelding, out of the Berndt Hanover mare Lexus Bailey, won the $9,000 featured trot in 2:01.3, for harness racing owners Super Mile LLC of Blasdell, NY, here at Buffalo Raceway Friday night (March 22). It was the second win this season in ten attempts for Baileys Magic.

Harness racing World Champion trotting mare 'Beat The Wheel' died today at Hanover Shoe Farms. The cause of death was kidney failure which led to a breakdown of her vital organs.

Rideau Carleton Raceway harness racing fans were treated to eight outstanding battles by the province's top trotters and pacers on Sunday evening, as the Ottawa oval hosted the $800,000 Grassroots Championship.

After qualifying all four of his two-year-old starters for their respective Grassroots Finals on Friday, harness racing trainer Mark Steacy added a pair of three-year-olds to the trailer load he will ship back to Rideau Carleton Raceway next Sunday for the $800,000 Championship event.
