Oslo, Norway - The 3.6/1 Urlo dei Venti (5m Mago d’Amore-Armbro Wealthy-Malabar Man) with Enrico Bellei up for trainer Gennaro Casillo, made a shambles of the Gr. I International UET Masters Series VG Grand Prix Oslo (total purse €289,226, 2100 meters autostart, 10 starters) scoring by seven lengths in the 1.10.5kr clocked victory. Bellei had the winner in front early and the result was never in doubt as the 9/10 favorite Twister Bi made a dq miscue before at the start. Urlo dei Venti raised his career earnings to €930,050 for owner Scuderia Barbalbero of Italy. The 63/1 Evil Enok ME (5m Magnetic Power-Topaz Dragon) was second for trainer/driver Noralf P. Braekken and owner Lars Mikal Braekken. III Internationale, purse €110,000, 2100 meters autostart, 15 starters, Quinte+) began the sensational Paris-Vincennes harness racing weekend. 28/1 Urlo dei Venti (5m Mago d’Amore-Armbro Wealthy) scored a narrow 1.10.6kr timed victory for Italy’s Enrico Bellei, trainer Gino Casillo and Scuderia Barbalbero. 6.5/1 Une Serenade (10f Gazouillis-Moonlight  Serenade) took second driven by Eric Raffin for trainer Serge Peltier, ahead of 4.7/1  Uza Josselyn (7f Love You-Teze Josselyn) and driver Alexandre Abrivard. 4.1/1 Call Me Keeper was fourth for Orjan Kihlstom and fifth went to 13/1 Dawana (5f Ready Cash-Sanawa) for J,Ph, Monclin. Dante Boko finished eighth and 3.7/1 favorite Treasure Kronos was 10th. The fractions were quick (1.05.9kr at 1500 meters to go; 1.08.3kr at the 1000; 1.10.9ke with 500 remaining). September 17, 2017 - Today at Bologna, Italy (804 meter track) featured the Grand Premio Continentale (Harness racing four years old males, purse €209,000, 2060 meters autostart) produced a resounding five length 1.11.5kr timed win for Urlo Dei Venti (4m Mago d’Amore-Armbro Wealthy-Malabar Man) driven by Enrico Bellei. The great gaited colt trotted away from his pursuers around the last bend. Unicorno SLM (4m Love You-CL Brightness-King Conch) was second for Wim Paal. Third went to Dreammoko (4m Timoko-Uranie d’Atout-Kaisy Dream) handled by Gabriele Gelormini in his presumed final start before the Yonkers International in New York. The four year old mares contested the Grand Premio Continentale Filly (purse €77,000, 1660 meters autostart) and Une Etoile Gar (4f Varenne-Lorin-Ganymede) prevailed timed in 1.12.6kr for her 11th career win in 34 starts. June 17, 2017 - The great Vivid Wise As (3m Yankee Glide-Temple Blue Chip-Cantab Hall) took Saturday’s Gran Premio Nazionale (purse €187,000, 2250 meters autostart) at Milano over their 1050 meter oval. Enrico Bellei was the pilot for trainer Marco Smorgon. Allev. Della Serenissima SS bred the front-stepping winner of 10 of 11 career starts, and three for three this year, now for €260,821 earned. Timed in 1.12.7kr, the winner bested Vitruvio (3m Adrian Chip-Tigre OM-Zebu) driven by Pietro Gubellini and third went to Vessillo As (3m Mondiale OK-Yankee Dapple-Donerail) with Edouardo Baldi at the lines. This one was bred by the same farm as the winner. The undercard showcased the Gran Premio Nazionale Filly (purse €66,000, 1650 meters autostart) and the 1.13.7kr timed winner was Valdivia (3f Adrian Chip-Love On The Rocks-Donerail) driven by Roberto Vecchione. May 1, 2017 - Today’s classic Grand Prix Lotteria (purse of the finale €704,000, 1600 meters autostart) was raced in three eliminations (each for €25,300 over 1600 meters autostart) and a harness racing finale at Napoli-Agnano and Italy prevailed as Timone EK (5m Mr. Vic-Gemona-Lemon Dra), and driver Enrico Bellei, won impressively in his elim and in the final in record time 1.10.5kr, lowering the previous standard held by Timoko (10m Imoko-Kiss Me Coulonces-And Arifant) that won his elim for Bjorn Goop timed in 1.11kr and held fifth in the finale after racing wide throughout. The other elimination went to Un Mec d’Heripre (9m Orlando Vici-I Love You Darling-Buvetier d’Aunou) timed in 1.12kr and superbly rated on the front by Jos Verbeeck. Three eliminations for the October 5th 87th Italian Derby took place today at Roma Campanelle, in the right-handed direction. Each elimination was raced over 2100 meters autostart for €22,000. Stankovic OK (3m Self Possessed-Flavia Kronos-SJ’s Photo) romped by six lengths in 1.13.3kr in the first battery for Enrico Bellei. Specialess and Swan Wise As trailed the impressive, bold striding winner. This elim was the fastest of the day. Stankovic Ok Pietro Gubellini teamed Sharon Gar to victory in the second elimination timed in 1.14kr. The pair ended two lengths up over Saba de Ronco and reinsman Enrico Bellei with Skyline Dany third. The winner is a three year-old daughter of Varenne from Geneve Gar by Lemon Dra. Napoleon Bar (7m Varenne-Dalmazia-Coktail Jet) took today’s €115,000 Gr. III European Prix de New York at Enghien-Soisy. Pierre Vercruysse teamed the winner, for trainer Catello Savarese and owner Emiliano Stecca, to his 14th career win now with earnings over €757,000. Vercruysse put the 7.7/1 odds Napoleon Bar on the front shortly off the gate, yielded and then immediately regained the lead that he held comfortably for the rest of the contest, conducted over 2150 meters autostart. Uprince was second at 10/1 for Franck Nivard with 24/1 Shadow d’Odyssee third for Eric Raffin. Favored 1.3/1 Pascia’Lest ended seventh for Enrico Bellei after a ground saving trip.
