Enghien’s Gr. II Prix de Londres (monte, purse 100,000€, 2875 meters, 11 starters) was the Saturday headliner and the “London Prize” for the third time went to veteran monte class-master and 7/10 favorite Arlington Dream (9g Ready Cash-Ialla Clairchamp). He was clocked in 1.13.7kr with Yoann Lebourgeois in the irons for trainer Philippe Allaire and owner Frederic Sauque. Arlington Dream raised his career earnings to 1,153,640€ with this his 23rd victory in 77 career starts. Arlington Dream won this event in 2017-2018 with a best clocking of 1.12.6kr last year. Today, he was away near the back and Lebourgeois patiently closed the gap to the leaders before sweeping to the front starting into the final bend. In post race interview jockey Lebourgeois commented his mount’s exceptional monte consistency and three wins in this race - "You have to have a hell of a horse to do that. Tactically, I always try to take a quiet ride with him and I ask him to engage afterwards, which he knows how to do perfectly." The 2/5 favorite Aubrion du Gers (9g Memphis du Rib-J’Arrive du Gers) won today’s Gr. II Prix des Ducs de Normandie (purse 130,000€, 2450 meters, 12 International starters) at Caen with a patient, smart drive engineered by harness racing owner/trainer/driver Jean Michel Bazire.   He was away second on the outer and after 300 meters took the lead from early leader and 3.1/1 odds Bold Eagle (8m Ready Cash-Reethi Rah Jet) handled by Bjorn Goop for trainer Sebastien Guarato.   From then forward Aubrion du Gers maintained the front and won by over a length timed in 1.12.5kr for his 15 th consecutive victory and 45th in a 69-race career. The 1.9/1 favorite Ceylan Dairpet (6g Ouragon de Celland-Rosy MIP) scored, timed in 1.13.8kr, with Yoann Lebourgeois aboard for trainer Tony LeBeller and owner Ecurie Dairpet.
